Vermicelli Pudding Recipe


Ingredients for the Vermicelli Pudding

Wheat vermicelli – 2 cups
Milk – 2 liters
Sugar – 200 gms
Ghee – 4 tbsp
Cardamoms – 2 [crushed]
Almonds and pistachios for garnishing

Method of the Preparation of Vermicelli Pudding

Heat ghee in a pan and fry the vermicelli until golden brown and keep aside. Boil the milk on low flame for 10-15 minutes. Add vermicelli and stirring regularly. When the milk and vermicelli thicken, add sugar and cook on low flame until the mixture thickens to a creamy consistency.
Remove from the fire and add crushed cardamoms and let the pudding cool. Place in refrigerator until cold and garnish with almonds and pistachios. This pudding can also be served hot.
