Ingredients for the Snow Pudding
Water – 2 cups
Corn flour – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1 pinch
Sugar – ½ cup
Tartaric acid – ½ tsp
Lemon essence – ½ tsp
Evaporated milk – small tin
Method of the Preparation of the Snow Pudding
Put the water, salt and sugar on to boil. Mix the corn flour with a little cold water and add to the boiling mixture, adding constantly till thick and transparent.
Remove from the fire and add tartaric acid and lemon essence. Leave to get cold. Beat the evaporated milk well, and add to the mixture. Serve with Custard.
