Simple Christmas pudding


Ingredients for Simple Christmas pudding

Sago – 2 tbsp
Butter – 2 tbsp
Sugar – ½ cup
Bread crumbs – 2 cups
Hot milk – ½ cup
Milk – 1 cup
Mixed Dried Fruits – 1 ¼ cup
Bi-carb – 1 tsp

Method of the Preparation of the Simple Christmas pudding

Soak the sago in milk for  2 hours. Beat the butter and the sugar. Add bread crumbs, dried fruits and soda to the hot milk and mix well. Pour into greased vessel and cover with a lid and steam for 3-4 hours on low flame. When it cools serve with custard.
