Ingredients for Mutton Bufath
Mutton – 500 gms [wash and cut into pieces]
Carrots – 250gms [cut into small pieces]
Green Peas – 250 gms
Potatoes – 3 [sliced]
Ginger – 1 piece
Garlic flakes – 6
Cloves – 3
Cardamom – 3
Dry Red Chilies – 5
Cinnamon – 1 piece
Vinegar – 2 tbsp
Tomatoes – 3 [chopped]
Coconut milk – 2 cups of milk
Onion – 3 [chopped]
Oil – ¼ cup
Salt to taste
Method Preparing Mutton Bufath
Grind, ginger, red chilies, Cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and garlic flakes in mixer grinder. Cook the meat, carrots and peas separately with salt.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the potatoes and remove. Put the chopped onions in the same oil and fry for 5 minutes. Add the ground paste and sauté again. Add the tomatoes and mix well.
Add the boiled meat, vegetables and coconut milk and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
Serve the meat with fried potato slices
