How to make Ginger wine


Ingredients for Ginger Wine

Ginger – 250 gms [chopped]
Sugar – 1 kg
Juice of lemon
Yeast – ½ tsp
Cardamom – 3 [crushed]
Cloves—3 [crushed]
 Cinnamon – 1 piece [crushed]
 Caramelized sugar -- 2 tsp

Method of Preparing Ginger Wine

Boil the chopped ginger by adding enough water for 15 minutes on low flame. Strain and allow to cool.  Make sugar syrup  and allow to cool. Mix all the ingredients well . . Keep in air tight container for 5 days. Stir daily.
Filter the wine with a muslin cloth and add caramelized sugar. Stir well and fill in airtight bottles
Wine can be used after filtering
