Ingredients for Black Velvet Cake
Flour – 2 2/3 cups
Castor Sugar – 1 1/3 cups
Bi-carb – 2 tsp
Vinegar – 2 tbsp
Vanilla – 1 tsp
Baking Powder – 2 tsp
Cold Water – 2 cups
Coco Powder – 6 tbsp
Oil – 2/3 cup
Method of the Preparation of the Black Velvet Cake
Beat oil, castor sugar, vanilla, vinegar, and water together. Sift dry ingredients together. Then gradually add the dry ingredients to the oil mixture. Mix well and beat for 5 minutes.
Bake in two 1 ½ deep 8-inch cake tins at 350° till the cake become brown.
