Ingredients for Leg of Lamb
Lamb leg – 1
Garlic flakes – 2
Pepper powder to taste
Fresh rosemary – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Juice of 1 lemon
Basil --1 tsp [chopped]
Method of the Preparation of Leg of Lamb
Pre heat the oven to 325⁰F. Placing the lamb leg into a pan, its fat side is placed up and cut slits in surface of lamb leg. Insert the garlic flakes into the slits
Squeeze the lemon juice over the lamb leg and rub its surface with lemon juice.
Sprinkle the lamb with pepper powder, Chopped basil, rosemary and salt.
Now lamb is ready for roasting, so place it in a preheated oven and for 20-25 minutes for pound or meat thermometer registers 150⁰F for medium rare, 160⁰F for medium or desired degree of doneness.
Serve garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
