Easter Lamb Cake Traditional Recipe

Ingredients for Lamb Cake

Flour – 3 ½ cups
Egg whites -- 4
Baking Powder – 2 ½ tsp
Butter – 1 cup
Sugar – 2 cups
Water – 1 cup
Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp

Method of the Preparation of Lamb Cake

Mix butter and sugar well. Add water to it.
Add flour, baking powder and salt and mix gently.
Fold the creamed batter and mix vanilla essence to it. Stir softly.
Beat the egg whites in a separate bowl until it turns stiff.
Add the beaten eggs into the mixture and mix well.
Pour the mixture into a well greased floured lamb mold and bake the cake in an oven on 350⁰F for 45 minutes.
