Turkey Fry Easter Recipe



The idea of Fried Turkey is originated in United States, but it gaining the popularity in worldwide, do not stuff the Turkeys you plan on frying. You should never fry the Turkey indoors. Place the fryer outdoors. Don’t allow the children and pets near the cooking area.  Consume cooked Turkey immediately and store left over in the refrigerator within two hours of cooking.

Ingredients for Turkey Fry

Whole Turkey – 8 pound
Onion –1
Creole seasoning – 1 tbsp
 Peanut oil – 1 gallon

Method of Preparing Turkey Fry

Clean and remove the giblets and neck from the Turkey. Heat oil, in a Turkey fryer  at 200⁰c. Layer a large platter with food safe paper bags.
Rinse the Turkey and drain with a kitchen towel and rub the seasoning inside and outside of the Turkey.
Place the onion and Turkey with neck end in drain basket. Slowly lower the basket in to the hot oil to completely cover the Turkey.
Cook the Turkey for 30 minutes until done. Carefully remove the basket from the oil and drain the Turkey.
And allow to rest for at least 10 minutes. Enjoy your delicious fried Turkey.
