Cinnamon Balls Easter Recipe

Cinnamom Balls a tasty treat for Easter. It should be stored in airtight container. They also freeze well.

Ingredients for Cinnamon Balls

Cornflakes crumbs – 2 cups
Soft Butter – 1 cup
Vanilla – 2 tsp
Sugar – ½ cup
Sifted Flour—2cups
Cinnamon – 1 tsp
Walnut or Pecan nuts – 1 cup [chopped]
Caster sugar or Icing Sugar – 1 ½ cups

Method of Preparing Cinnamon Balls

Crush the corn flakes in to crumbs. Blend the butter sugar and vanilla.
Sift flour with Cinnamon. Add the crushed crumbs and pecan nuts to the butter mixture and mix well, as well as the flour mixture. Mix gently and shaping into small balls and placing into greased baking sheets.
Bake at 350⁰F for about half an hour.
Remove when baked and roll immediately in icing or caster sugar.
